Software Engineer

Snowdon seeks a Software Engineer to join a team dedicated to drug discovery and development. The Engineer will be responsible for acquiring, maintaining, upgrading, and updating the computer hardware and software necessary for Snowdon operations. The successful candidate will have experience in the installation and troubleshooting of commercially available applications as well as the maintenance and updating of Snowdon proprietary software. The engineer will assist in the design of text, numerical, and structure-based chemical databases, and will have the responsibility to oversee the smooth operation of all electronic equipment, the company intranet, and data backup procedures.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or the equivalent, and will have at least 5 years experience in an industrial setting.
